À carnaval by Shocco of Roanoke

Flip by Jason Limon
One day
the music of words
will have their final note.

Forgotten,
neath the world
that keeps spinning.

So will I
sometime
be gone forever.

You,
you will join me,
some sunny day.

Glory!
How beautiful
this way is and has been!

A ride,
fast and short,
as it always is.

For
no matter how
many years you might

Get,
it is really
never quite enough.

Life is mad,
insane and pretty,
à carnaval.

Give me
godhood.
A spring of youth

Of such
olympian speed
I warm the dark

Winter
of my young
and beautiful death!
